STANDING FOR ALDERNEY & BOURNE VALLEY
"I want local politics to be accessible to the people it affects!
I'm driven by the believe that everyone should have the access to the services they need when they need it and that everyone deserves the best chances in life."
ABOUT ME
Having worked in local communities for over 7 years, I know communities often have solutions to the problems they face and many good ideas about how to make the places we live better. I believe local politics should represent local people! If elected I will work to ensure everyone in the ward has a chance to engage in the issue’s that affect the area. I’m standing with Alliance for Local Living, because I believe that decisions that are going to affect local people, should be made using values and by consulting local people.
With the new council, it is more important than ever that the needs and wishes of local people don’t get lost and whoever is elected will be voting on how the new council will be run, and which services to prioritise.
I currently manage a children and families charity, supporting Dorset families to have positive experiences and rebuild relationships in a rural farm setting. I have a lot of fun working alongside families, getting stuck in on the farm. I have spent over 4 years working in children’s services in Poole & Bournemouth, and have been privilege to support many families during this time, as well as to gain insight into some of the issues families face in Alderney & Bourne Valley.
As an experienced community worker, I know I have the skills needed to listen to local people and support residents to make the changes they want to see.
I want local politics to be accessible to the people it affects!
I’m driven by the believe that everyone should have the access to the services they need when they need it and that everyone deserves the best chances in life.
We believe as a team of independents we can best serve the people of Alderney & Bourne Valley by holding residents at the heart of our decision making
